In a short time the ingredients are efficiently mixed and result perfectly homogenous and emulsified brine. The prepared brines remain mixed inside the tank thanks to the action of the pump that recirculates the brine and in the end transfers it to the injector or to the storage tank. Cretel 562A Derinder

Overview

The Tomra QVision is a fat, protein and moisture analysis solution for the meat industry. The QVision Analyzer allows suppliers to provide a consistent product quality that provides large savings by increasing profitability and simplifying daily operation.

Meat producers are constantly looking for a consistent taste in their end product. Stable fat, protein and moisture levels are what clients want and TOMRA Sorting Solutions can provide a process analytics solution to meet those needs. The QVision Fat Analyzer is typically applied directly after the grinder or dicer to ensure standardization of fat content in a batch that is either operator controlled or integrated to automation systems.

Working Principle

The Tomra QVision Analyser applies unique transflection technology which measures VIS-NIR light that has penetrated deep into the meat before it is analyzed. As the full width of the belt is analyzed, intelligent algorithms instantly verify what is belt and what is food product. The product flow is weighted in parallel analysis data and weight data is matched in real-time to take into account any density difference in the food product. These features allow both fresh and frozen food products to be analyzed at very high accuracies and capacities. Surface effects and limitations in grind size are eliminated.

Cooling and mixing

Rotary drum freezers consist of a sloping cylindrical drum, which is rotating around its axis.
Product and cooling medium are loaded continuously at the highest entrance point of the drum. By the rotating movement, both are intensively mixed while, at the same time, sliding to the lower exit of the drum. The stirring movement and the mixing prevent products from clumping together. Screw Conveyor for simultaneous conveying and cooling

Introduction

Screw conveyors are not limited to moving products horizontally and upwards; while moving the product, screw conveyors can cool, mix and blend components.
